Adobe is bringing a CX workflow into other AI platforms
Adobe announced on November 4 that CX Enterprise Coworker is available within ChatGPT, Claude, Databricks Genie, Gemini for business and Microsoft Copilot. Adobe says integrations for Amazon Quick, IBM and Snowflake are expected later; those should be treated as planned, not currently available. The product is positioned for marketing teams that plan, orchestrate and optimize customer experiences using platforms where employees already work.
Adobe also announced pre-built Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors for partner systems, including advertising, analytics and enterprise tools. It says the service can analyze campaign performance, forecast audiences, optimize customer journeys and coordinate work. These are vendor descriptions of product capabilities; actual connector coverage, permissions and workflow depth may vary by platform and customer configuration.
MCP and agent-to-agent connectivity
Adobe describes CX Enterprise Coworker as built on MCP and Agent2Agent (A2A), standards intended to connect tools and agents across systems. In practical terms, a marketing request could involve retrieving approved context, preparing an action across connected platforms and returning a result to the user. A protocol connection does not itself determine which data is authorized, whether an action should proceed or how a result is audited.
Adobe says its connectors can allow actions in connected tools, making permission design especially important. Enterprise teams should inventory each server and action, identify the identity used, restrict scopes, test data boundaries, and require confirmation for consequential changes such as audience updates or campaign launches. Logging should show which request triggered each action and what records were accessed.
Where orchestration could be useful
Potential use cases include preparing a campaign brief from approved customer and brand context, finding inconsistent campaign information, or coordinating a handoff between planning and execution. Such flows may reduce the effort of moving between tools, but they depend on reliable data, well-maintained connector definitions and clear ownership. A connected workflow can also amplify stale audience rules or conflicting customer records if those are not resolved first.
Human oversight remains part of Adobe’s announcement. Teams should define which steps can run automatically, which require approval, and how an operator can stop or reverse an action. Begin with read-only analysis or drafts, then extend to changes only after permission tests and audit review. Do not assume that access in one AI platform grants identical permissions in another.
Availability and evaluation questions
The announcement confirms availability in named platforms but does not publish a universal deployment checklist, plan requirement or identical feature matrix for every connector. Buyers should confirm the platform edition, region, Adobe CX Enterprise entitlement, connector access and support terms with their account team. The announced integrations are not evidence that every CRM or marketing stack is supported.
A useful pilot measures whether teams can verify outputs, whether existing approval controls remain visible, and whether connector failures are recoverable. Review data residency, retention, identity federation, rate limits and incident responsibility across Adobe and the host AI platform. The value is not simply “more agents”: it is a governed route from customer context to an action that a person can understand and authorize.
