02 / EXTERNAL COSTS

Third-party costs, clearly separated.

Hosting, domains, professional email, premium licences, paid plugins, AI services, APIs, payment gateways, and other external services are not included in CherTra prices unless your quote says otherwise.

Where possible, these services are registered and paid for directly by you, so you retain control of your accounts, licences, and services. CherTra can help configure or technically manage them, while the external provider’s cost remains yours.

03 / THE PROCESS

How we work

A clear sequence keeps decisions, responsibilities, and next steps visible throughout the project.

  1. 01

    Discovery

We discuss the challenge, goals, current situation, and project requirements.

  2. 02

    Proposal and quote

We define deliverables, included features, costs, external services, and payment stages.

  3. 03

    Agreement and timeline

After approval, we sign an agreement and set milestones and an expected delivery date.

  4. 04

    Advance payment

Work starts after the agreement is signed and the agreed advance (normally 20%) is paid.

  5. 05

    Development

We build the project according to the approved scope.

  6. 06

    Review

You review the work and we complete the revisions included in the project.

  7. 07

    Balance and launch

The remaining balance is settled as agreed before launch or final handover, unless agreed otherwise.

  8. 08

    Post-launch support

30 days of support for technical issues related to the agreed work are included.

04 / Payment stages

Payment stages

The initial advance is normally 20%. The remaining amount is divided according to the milestones agreed in the quote or contract.

20%typical initial advance

05 / AFTER HANDOVER

30 days of post-launch support

For 30 days after handover, support is included to correct technical issues or defects related to the functionality agreed for the project.

Included: fixes for agreed-scope bugs and issues caused by CherTra’s implementation.

New features, pages, redesigns, extra integrations, and work outside the original scope are assessed and quoted separately.

06 / COMPLETION

When is a project complete?

A project is considered complete when the features listed in the quote have been built, tested, and delivered according to the agreed scope.

07 / CONTROL AND ACCESS

Your accounts remain yours.

Where possible, domains, hosting, email, payment gateways, and external services are registered directly in your name. This keeps account access and provider relationships under your control.

After final payment, you receive the access and materials defined in the agreement, except for third-party components or licences governed by their own terms.

08 / PROJECT SCOPE

A clear scope, with changes agreed first.

Your quote describes what is included. If you request additional work or a substantial change, we explain its effect on price and timing and proceed only after your approval.

Project-specific conditions are defined in the quote and signed agreement.

09 / TERMS

Cancellations and refunds

Before work starts, activities, costs, timing, and payment terms are agreed in writing. If a project is cancelled before work begins, amounts paid are handled according to the quote or contract.

If work has started, the amount corresponding to completed work and non-recoverable project costs is retained. Any remaining amount is refunded under the agreed terms. Costs already paid to external providers are subject to their terms and may not be refundable.

Any mandatory rights under applicable law remain unchanged. The signed agreement sets the conditions for each project.

10 / FAQ

Pricing questions

Is the displayed price final?

These are starting prices or ranges. The final quote reflects the agreed scope, complexity, features, and requirements.

What determines the final price?

Page count, design requirements, integrations, content, languages, technical complexity, and delivery needs can affect the estimate.

Are hosting and a domain included?

External costs are normally separate unless your quote explicitly includes them. Accounts are preferably registered in your name.

How much do I pay to get started?

The initial advance is normally 20%, with the rest scheduled across agreed milestones or final delivery.

Can I request changes during the project?

Yes. Changes within the agreed revision scope are handled as specified. New features or substantial changes are estimated and approved first.

What happens if I cancel?

The quote or signed agreement explains how completed work, non-recoverable costs, and any remaining refund are handled.

What is included in the 30-day support period?

It covers technical defects related to agreed functionality, including issues caused by CherTra’s implementation. New work is quoted separately.

Can I arrange ongoing maintenance?

Yes. Maintenance can be scoped around updates, backups, monitoring, small fixes, content changes, and support needs.

Who owns the domain, hosting, and service accounts?

Where possible, they are opened in your name so you retain control. Handover follows the signed agreement and relevant licence terms.

Can payments be split into stages?

Yes. The quote or contract sets the advance and remaining payment milestones for that project.

Project-specific conditions are defined in the quote and signed agreement. Nothing on this page replaces mandatory rights under applicable law.
